MISS RHONE ALPS. This year, Miss Rhône-Alpes is represented at Miss France 2023 by Esther Coutin, 24. She is one of 15 finalists.

Pre-selected upstream by the competition jury, the young woman can thus continue the competition. Esther Coutin is a dynamic 24-year-old woman. Very active, she has a doctorate in accounting, a field in which she wishes to practice.
But that’s not all, since the young woman is above all a great sportswoman and particularly appreciates climbing, a discipline that requires self-control and that one surpasses oneself. Moreover, this is not the first time that the young woman has tried her luck since she had already presented herself for the Miss Rhône-Alpes election in 2017 and 2018.
Elected Miss Rhône-Alpes 2022, Esther Coutin is not at her first attempt. Indeed, she had already participated in the regional beauty pageant twice in the past. The third time was therefore the good one for the young woman! A great lesson in resilience, in short, as she told TV Mag: “It was a little girl’s dream, I registered for the first time in 2017, I tried my luck again in 2018 and, this year, it was my third attempt. I knew I was going to come back, I wanted to cling to this dream. If it didn’t materialize before, it’s because there was a good reason. I might not have had the shoulders for Miss France four or five years ago, whereas today I feel really ready.”

All about Miss Rhône Alpes
Each year, the Rhône Alpes region presents its candidate for the Miss France beauty contest. To do this, many elections are organized in the region before the verdict is given: in Ardèche, Drôme, Isère, Loire, Ain, Savoie and Rhône. In the past, seven Miss Rhône-Alpes have been elected Miss France, of which Sylvie Tellier, elected in 2002, is the latest. Sylvie Tellier is now at the head of the Miss France company.

- Charlotte Faure: In 2021, Charlotte Faure wore the colors of the Rhône-Alpes region during the Miss France competition. The young woman, then a student of BTS communication had qualified in the Top 15 of the 2022 election but unfortunately did not go further.
- Anais Roux: At the end of 2020, it was Anaïs Roux who represented the Rhône-Alpes region during the election of Miss France 2021. Then aged 23, the young candidate from Lyon was a student in osteopathy. Unfortunately, Anaïs Roux did not go beyond the Top 15 stage during the national election.
- Chloe Prost: At the end of 2019, the Rhône-Alpes region chose Chloé Prost to represent it in the Miss France 2021 competition. Aged 20, Chloé Prost was a master’s student in purchasing management at the Lyon Institute of Business Administration at the time of the beauty pageant. That year, unfortunately, the candidate from the Rhône-Alpes region was not selected in the top 15. She was still awarded the swimsuit prize.
