Miss Picardie is one of the 15 candidates selected upstream by the competition jury to continue the competition this Saturday, December 17, 2022. She must now stand out to finish in the top 5. If the young woman is from Picardy and from Amiens, she has already tried the Miss Normandy 2020 contest and had still obtained the title of third runner-up. Holder of a Master’s degree in communication, the 25-year-old professional is above all a fan of travel and adventure. She is also very involved in community life in her region and is a volunteer with road safety. On December 17, Bérénice will try to win the famous Miss France 2023 scarf.
You probably don’t know it, but Bérénice Legendre has a very special bond with Amandine Petit, former Miss France elected at the end of 2020. Indeed, the two young women know each other well because they participated in the same Miss Normandy competition! Native to the region, Bérénice Legendre first entered the Miss Normandy contest where she was able to rub shoulders with Amandine Petit before her coronation. The ex-Miss France pays her back, as Bérénice Legendre explains to Figaro TV Mag: “She was my girlfriend during the adventure. I was very happy that she was elected. She sent me little messages of support and I saw her again at the Miss Normandy election. She told me to stay as I am.”

Miss Picardie is a competition that elects a candidate for Miss France each year. Several young women come forward in the hope of becoming the ambassador of Oise, Somme and Aisne. Since its creation, four Miss Picardie have been elected Miss France: Lyne Lassalle in 1936, Sylviane Carpentier in 1953, Elodie Gossuin in 2001 and Rachel Legrain-Trapani in 2007.
List of recent Miss Picardy
- Hayate El Gharmaoui: In 2021, it was the young Hayate El Gharmaoui – then 21 years old – who represented the Picardy region in the Miss France competition. Although she was not ranked in the Top 15, the candidate had still obtained the price of elegance.
- Tara of Mets: At the end of 2020, it was Tara de Mets who represented Picardy during the Miss France election. Then 21 years old, the young woman from Clermont in the Oise was following a course of medicine, in the fourth year of training in Amiens. If Tara of Mets did not have the opportunity to integrate the Top 15 this year, she still received the award for good manners.
- Morgane Fradon: Elected in Beauvais on October 27, 2019, Morgane Fradon was the representative of Picardy at Miss France 2020. This 20-year-old young woman was a student in Applied Foreign Languages at the University of Tours. In the national election in December 2019, she placed ninth.
- Assia Kerim: In 2018, Assia Kerim represented Picardy in the Miss France 2019 competition. Aged 22, the young woman wanted to move towards a career as an urban planner in order to contribute to the development of the territory. She failed to rank during Miss France 2019.
