MISS GUYANE 2023. Guyana has chosen its representative for the next Miss France election. We reveal the portrait of Audrey Ho-Wen-Tsaï.

Audrey Ho-Wen-Tsaï was elected Miss Guyana 2023 on Saturday July 15, 2023. The latter will also be advantage over the other participants since the preparation trip will be held on her land at the end of the year, before flying to Dijon, where the national competition will be held on December 16th.

The new Miss Guyana is only 17 years old. Originally from Kourou, Audrey Ho-Wen-Tsaï announced when she was elected that she wanted to become a marketing agent in sustainable and green marketing. Miss Guyana elects a young woman each year to the Miss France beauty contest. Several candidates present themselves annually in the hope of becoming the ambassador of the overseas region. Since the creation of the Miss France contest, only one Miss Guyana has won the crown of Miss France: it is Alicia Aylies, in 2017.

List of past Miss Guyana

  • Shaina Robin wore Miss Guyana’s scarf for the Miss France 2023 election, during which she did not reach the top 15. Aged 21 at the time of her coronation, she was from Kourou and studied in a scientific preparatory class, in the objective of one day becoming a fighter pilot in the Air Force by integrating the National School of Civil Aviation.
  • Melysa Stephenson was elected Miss Guyana in 2021. Aged 19 at the time of her coronation, she was a student in sociology and is pursuing parallel studies in digital marketing and training to become a fashion designer. During the Miss France 2022 election, she qualified in the top 15, in 13th place.
  • Heleneschka Horth : in 2020, Héléneschka Horth was elected Miss Guyana. Aged 23, she was in charge of communication and marketing at the Medef in Guyana when she was elected, with the aim of becoming a business manager in a few years. Héléneschka Horth hoped to be able to work on promoting products from her overseas region. During the Miss France 2021 election, she was not qualified among the finalists.
  • Dariana Abe was elected on October 13, 2019 Miss Guyana. Aged 21 and originally from Apatou, she worked as a beautician. A first step towards his dream, founding his own beauty institute specializing in treatments based on tropical products. Previously, she obtained a literary baccalaureate before taking a degree in modern letters. During the Miss France 2020 election, she was not selected among the finalists.
  • Laureline Decocq: in 2018, Laureline Decocq was the face of Guyana in the Miss France election. Coming from a region little known to the French population, Laureline Decocq hoped to promote her territory: “I come from Amazonia: a territory rich in biodiversity and development potential but unfortunately unknown, even sometimes by the Guyanese themselves .” However, she was not a finalist in the competition and therefore did not place.
