(Finance) – The minister Giancarlo Giorgetti authorized a innovation agreement with SCM Groupa world-class company in the tool industry, which aims to develop machinery 4.0 intended for woodworking and furniture manufacturing.
The project, called PRIME (custom furniture production), will be made in production sites in Rimini, Villa Verucchio (Rimini) and Thiene (Vicenza) where a new range of innovative machines to improve, through digitization and robotics, the sanding, edging and drilling processes of panel and solid wood furniture.
The resources to finance the intervention are altogether equal to 11.7 million eurosof which the Ministry of Economic Development makes available concessions for approximately 2.4 million of euros that will allow the creation of 100 new jobs.

An international group that has continued to invest in Italian production sites, enhancing the skills present in the area”, declares Minister Giorgetti.
