S changes the Qur’an burns: “Fully functioning order”
In 2023, the Social Democrats wanted to stop the Koran burns with a hot stroke.
But now it is not relevant anymore, says S legal political spokesman Teresa Carvalho.
– At present, we do not see any such reason to proceed with it. But I personally think it is highly inappropriate, she says in SVT’s Agenda.
When asked if the party changed, Carvalho says:
– Let me say this: I think it is highly inappropriate, but we should guard our freedom of speech. What has happened since then is that we have received a judgment against Rasmus Paludan about incitement against people. We have an order that allows to burn the Qur’an, but not for the purpose of inciting Muslims.
– At present, we see no reason to change what is an obviously functioning order.
Rasmus Paludan was sentenced in November to prison for statements about “Arabs and Africans” as he did in connection with the Qur’an burns during the Easter Copenhagen.

When the police arrived, the boy could be arrested. In his sock he had a gun and in his pocket a magazine with sharp cartridges.

A customs employee in Umeå has been reported to the Personnel Responsibility Committee after accidentally firing a shot with its service weapon on the shooting range, reports SVT.
Since November last year, customs employees may carry weapons in, for example, border controls – something that was previously only allowed for coercive measures as the house search. Just before that, in October, an incident took place in Umeå where an employee fired a wet shot in a weapon room after a shooting exercise, when a routine measure in disarming failed.
The employee followed the routine, but failed to check if there was a cartridge in the magazine, according to Jennie von Alten, head of the control department at the Customs Administration. The person has therefore been reported to both the Personnel Responsibility Committee and the Swedish Work Environment Authority.
Another person was in the room, but no one was injured.
