Three people on electric scooters have been hit at a pedestrian crossing in Växjö.
According to the police, at least two of them are minors.
– A person must have ended up under the car, says the rescue service’s command operator.
At 17.48, SOS Alarm was alerted to a traffic accident at a roundabout in Växjö.
– There must be some type of collision between a vehicle and several people, says Rickard Lundqvist, police spokesperson.
Three people on electric scooters are said to have been hit by a car. According to the police, at least two of the people must be minors.
– Initially, we were told that three people had been hit at a pedestrian crossing. A person would then have ended up under the car, says the rescue service’s command operator.
– When we arrived at the scene, there were two people who had been hit and people on the spot must have freed the person from under the car.
Two have been taken to hospital by ambulance. The extent of the damage is unclear.
The police have blocked the road.
