The report describes how many of those who applied for asylum in 2015 received residence permits and were registered in Sweden in 2022. Their housing, education and employment are studied there. The focus is on women and men born in 1999, which is the most common year of birth.
Among the employed, health care and social services were the most common industry, this applies to both women and men.
A majority has a secondary education level.
It is most common to have attended a vocational program in high school, but most do not have a high school diploma.
It is common to have been educated in technology and manufacturing or health care and social care.
It is most common to live in or near larger cities and in areas with socio-economic challenges.
