Six people have been killed by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank, according to the health ministry in Ramallah. The people are said to have been killed in operations against two refugee camps, and additional people are reported to have been injured.
Israel’s military says it is investigating the deaths.
The Palestinian Red Crescent accuses Israeli forces of firing on the organization’s ambulances.
The violence in the West Bank, which has been occupied by Israel since 1967, has intensified since the Gaza war began on October 7 last year.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, more than 800 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank by Israeli forces or settlers since the Gaza war broke out. During the same period, more than 20 Israelis have been killed in Palestinian attacks in the West Bank, according to Israeli data.
