(Finance) – The Ministry of Defense and Trenitalia have entered into a convention which provides a 20% discount for business trips dedicated to personal military and civilian of the Defence whose Cartafreccia is associated with the Trenitalia for Business Program.
The agreement was signed by the Army Corps General Carmine MasielloDeputy Chief of the Defense Staff and by Luigi CorradiCEO of Trenitalia, in the presence of the Minister of Defense Lorenzo Guerini and the CEO of the FS Group Luigi Ferraris. The signing of the agreement took place this afternoon at the library of the Army General Staff, in via XX Settembre.
The agreement, which provides for the discount on the Base and Economy fare, applies to all service levels even for tickets purchased at the last minute, and includes unlimited changes and refunds before departure. It also includes a number of other benefits.
The agreement – explains a note – aims to contribute to pursuing the objectives of the newborn Passenger Polo of the FS Group, of which Trenitalia is the lead partner, and which aims to create a multimodal business proposal to have integrated, economic, reliable and sustainable transport. and increasingly personalized and attentive to the needs of individual passengers.
The agreement, whose duration is foreseen until the end of 2023also extends to private trips by Ministry of Defense personnel on Frecce, Intercity and Intercity Night and Eurocity Italy-Switzerland for internal routes in Italy.
