In his written statement, Uraloğlu evaluated the “Turkish Electronic Communications Sector Quarterly Market Data Report” of the Information Technologies and Communications Authority (BTK) for the second quarter of this year.
Stating that 465 companies authorized by the institution in the second quarter had 843 authorization certificates, Uraloğlu stated that the net sales revenues of TT Mobile, Turkcell, Türk Telekom and Vodafone were approximately 38.2 billion liras, while the total revenues of other operators were 12.1 billion liras.
Uraloğlu stated that as of the first half of the year, the number of mobile subscribers was 91.4 million and the mobile subscriber penetration was 107.1 percent, and said:

Uraloğlu pointed out that as of the first half of the year, the average monthly usage time in mobile networks was 477 minutes and in fixed networks it was 95 minutes, and said, “When the number of internet subscribers is examined, the total number of broadband internet subscribers reached 93.1 million, 71.7 million of which are mobile.
