An almost unbelievable record has been set in Minecraft. All of the game’s successes in such a short time that the record holder says: That’s practically unbeatable.
When it comes to records in video games, world records fall regularly. There are often several professionals in a category who repeatedly try to steal the record from each other and thus spur each other on. But a record has now been set in a Minecraft category that no one will be able to beat any time soon. Even the record holder Feinberg, who has already achieved the record 18 times, now says: “That’s practically unbeatable” and takes a break.
You can find out the story of the founder behind Minecraft here:
What is the record about? The category is called “Minecraft 1.16 AA RSG”, which means “Minecraft 1.6 All Advancements Random Seed Generated”.
Or a little more understandable:
You have to collect all the achievements in Minecraft 1.16 in as short a time as possible and choose a randomly generated world. Choosing a well-known, opportune “seed” where you already know the world is forbidden.
How long does it take? The first world records from 2020 required a time of 34 hours. It wasn’t until 2021 that times dropped significantly when everyone worked more efficiently and in a more coordinated manner. At that time, Feinberg set the record of 4 hours and 38 minutes. That was considered almost perfect back then.
What is the final record? Feinberg’s most recent record – and the 18th consecutive time he has claimed the record – is a time of 2 hours, 14 minutes and 19 seconds. This is a time that much of the community thought would never be realistically achievable. You can watch the video of the final record here:
Just getting started in the round might be strange for ordinary players. After collecting some sticks in the desert, Feinberg dives straight into a pyramid and activates a TNT block there while collecting the others. This way the TNT destroys many other blocks and gives him some good starting resources while also protecting him from much of the explosion.
Most normal players would probably only achieve this many achievements at the end of many days, if not weeks.
What does Feinberg do now? Anyone who thinks that Feinberg is taking a little rest and putting Minecraft aside is wrong. He streams regularly on his Twitch channel and is now trying speedruns in Minecraft version 1.20.6 to improve his skills even further. It seems like Feinberg won’t be getting a break any time soon. It remains to be seen whether he will attempt his “virtually unbeatable” record again – but for that to happen he may first need a competitor who could pose a serious threat to him. But some people also find Minecraft too scary.
