Mimerskolan in Sundsvall celebrates the Nobel lunch with pomp and circumstance

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

During Wednesday morning, the Mimer students in class 5:1 and 5:2 sat in their classrooms and made the final arrangements for the presentation of the researchers they had chosen to research. When they felt ready, it was time for an oral report and then the effort was celebrated with a Nobel lunch with both main course and dessert.

The lunch cafeteria was filled with pomp and circumstance and the students were dressed in fine clothes. Teachers dressed as the king and queen also came to visit.

– The assignment covers many subjects, SO, Swedish and sports. After lunch, the students go to the gymnasium and learn to dance a waltz, says teacher Sara Malmström.

What do you think was the best thing about today?

– Yes, the food was good, says student Sam Wikström.
