It quickly entered the top list of the most played games on the PC distribution platform Steam during the testing period.
The company was founded by veterans from, among others, Dice in 2018 and “The finals” will be the company’s first game when it is released.
The game is in the form of a TV show, where you have to collect as much money as possible. Much of the environments, including buildings, are completely destructible.
“The finals” was also noticed because Embark Studios also uses AI-generated voices, so-called text-to-speech (TTS).
“Making games without actors is not an end goal for Embark, and TTS technology has introduced new ways for us to work together,” the company said in a statement.
In addition to PC, the game was available to test on Xbox Series and Playstation 5.
