The purpose of the grant is to develop Svanö into a more attractive place. It will mainly go to updates in the area.
Upgrading the boat harbor with a jetty and changing rooms, a larger car park and development of the cistern area on the island is what is being focused on now.
– There is great interest in visiting Svanö, especially when we have large events. We hope to meet that need with this project, says Patrik Klingberg, chairman of the Svanö cultural association.
The renovation of the area is expected to be completed within two and a half years.
