(Finance) – After the green light from Parliament al milleproroghe decree, the text now awaits the signature of the Head of State. Signature that there will be – according to what is said in parliamentary circles – after careful consideration due to the tormented go-ahead from the Senate to the provision which saw a tug of war between the majority and the Executive on the complex of measures concerning the extensions of tenders for bathers.
Between main changes contained in the legislative decree there is the possibility for the Municipalities to write off the local taxes of the mini bills up to 1,000 euros, not only the portion referring to interest and penalties; the extension to the whole of 2024 of the current ones bathing concessions and suspension of the tenders, and the extension to the end of July 2023 for the exercise of the delegation for the mapping of the beaches given in concession. Measures approved in the Senate and confirmed in the House, which today expressed the final vote converting the measure into law, while yesterday the trust was voted. Rejected by the Assembly of Deputies theagenda of the Pd which committed the government to intervene promptly to restore the ‘women’s option’ in the version in force in 2022. The agendas of the various parliamentary opposition groups that committed the government to intervene on building bonuses were also rejected.

Extended to 31 December 2023 theextraordinary administration of Alitalia and deferred to 30 September 2023 on service contract between the Ministry of Enterprises and Rai. Extension to the whole of 2023 also of the allocation of 40 million for the disbursement of the contribution for the installation of the electric charging stations.
The Minister for Relations with Parliament, Luca Cirianidefended the inclusion of the extension of bathing concessions in the Milleproroghe decree. Guest of ‘Today is another day’ on Rai1, the minister answered a question on the risk that the European Union would fine Italy for this choice which contradicts the European rules on the competition regime. “There are tens of thousands of small family-run businesses that are the backbone of our tourism industry.
