Chelyabinsk Region Governor Alexey Teksler said in a statement on his official Telegram account, “A Mi-8 type helicopter crashed near Krasnoye Poly in the Sosnovsky district of Chelyabinsk. The helicopter belonged to the FSB. No residents were injured and no damage was observed in settlements. Special services work in the region, we provide them with the necessary assistance. According to preliminary information, 3 people died in the helicopter crash. I send my condolences to their families and loved ones,” he said.
