The lead did not last long. Brandon Soppy hit Davide Calabria’s leg and the referee pointed to the penalty spot. Theo Hernandez was ice cold from eleven meters and sent the goalkeeper the wrong way for the equaliser.
Just four minutes later, Croatian Ante Rebic added, assisted by Calabria.
In the last second of the half, Udinese equalized and the second half then started with an equally quick 3-2 response signed by Brahim Díaz
With twenty minutes left, the nail in the coffin came when Rebic sent 4-2 into the net from close range.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is currently being treated for a long-term injury.
