Mikko Rantanen, who enjoyed a four-point night, broke a hard line.
Colorado in the ice hockey NHL Mikko Rantanen had a wild power night hitting top power 2+2 as Colorado crushed Calgary 6–2.
At the same time, Rantanen reached a great milestone by reaching the 600 point mark. The 27-year-old Finnish forward has scored 253 goals and 348 assists during his 556 regular season games. Only Finnish players have reached the 600-point mark faster Jari Kurri (419 matches) and Teemu Selänne (455).

The last time a Finn scored 100 points in two consecutive seasons in the NHL was 27 years ago. Selänne scored 108 points (1995–1996) and 109 points (1996–1997). In addition to Rantanen and Selänte, Kurri has also managed to break 100 points among the Finns.
A young Finnish goalkeeper Justus Annunen prevented Colorado’s fourth win of the season with a goal. He put the puck in front of him 25 times.
Another Finnish star player, from Florida Alexander Barkov was also on top when the panther pack defeated Dallas 4–3 in the battle between the NHL’s top teams. The Finnish captain was responsible for the winning goal of the match and scored 2+1.
Florida is at the top of the Eastern Conference and Dallas is at the top of the Western Conference. Both teams played in the conference finals last year, with Florida beating Carolina and Dallas losing to Vegas.
