Mikko Esko moved to Slovenias top club Sports in

46-year-old volleyball player Mikko Esko moves to the ranks of Slovenian ARC Volley Ljubljana. It is the clear top club in the country, which has won no less than 20 championships.

It plays in the Champions League in the A group this season. Esko has played in VaLePa in recent years.

– I want to bring my knowledge and experience to the team, and my goal is to help make both the team and my teammates even better. My first impression of the club is that it is very professionally run. The negotiations went without any problems and I became convinced of why the club has dominated Slovenian and regional volleyball for many years and performs well in international matches as well, Esko told Valepa’s website.
