Mike Villa Fonseca, 28, is dating a 15-year-old. When the news was revealed last fall, he was forced out of his Moderate party.
Party secretary Monika Rubin demanded that he also leave the Norwegian parliament.
“It is simply way over the line! In technical terms, it’s called grooming,” she wrote on Facebook.
Reported to the police for grooming
Fonseca took sick leave from his job in the Danish parliament and he was reported to the police for grooming. Now the criminal investigation against the 28-year-old has been closed and on Thursday he made a comeback in the Norwegian Parliament as a political savage.
“I am in love with a fantastic person whose age is unfortunately not allowed in the internal code of conduct at the Moderates”, writes the politician himself in Everything.
Mike Villa Fonseca is clear that he has not broken the law, as in Denmark it is allowed to have a relationship with a person under the age of 18. He is also clear that his young girlfriend has no connection to the Moderates or any other political party.
“So maybe I was naive when I thought that my private life and my work as a member of the parliamentary group with the Moderates could be kept completely separate? The reality is that my girlfriend and I are people who love each other, while I politically fight for a better world,” writes Fonseca.
“The same values”
The 28-year-old is looking forward to returning to work, now as a political savage.
“My political values and positions are the same and have always been the same. I fight for healthcare, psychiatry, elderly care, preparedness, the tax system and the best interests of children and young people,” concludes Fonseca.
On Thursday, a formal decision will be made regarding Fonseca’s future in parliament, which is described as a technicality.
