Ingemar Stenmark’s “impossible” record has now been broken.

During the weekend wrote Mikaela Shiffrin mighty sporting history by winning his 87th career World Cup victory. Which means that the American passes by itself Ingemar Stenmark and breaks the Swede’s record that everyone thought would live forever.

It took over 30 years, but now Stenmark has gotten rid of his impressive record of most won World Cup races. At just 28 years old, Shiffrin also has quite a few years to extend her record even further.

But the one who is almost the happiest of all after the impressive achievement is actually “Stenis” himself. Because he mostly thinks it’s nice to get rid of the record and he really treats Mikaela Shiffrin to this milestone.

Record-maker Shiffrin then looked straight into the camera and spoke directly from the heart to her idol and great role model, see the video below.
– I am saying the same thing as I have always said. No matter what I do, it cannot be compared to what you have achieved. For me, the biggest dream is to be mentioned in the same sentence as you, she says live.
