Mikael 39 was shot dead in front of his 12 year old

At 18.15 on Wednesday evening, the police received an alarm that a person had been found shot outside in Skärholmen, in southern Stockholm.

Later in the evening, the police announced on their website that the man was dead and that a preliminary investigation into murder had been opened.

The shot man was Michael, 39. According to information to The evening paper Mikael and his 12-year-old son were on their way to a bathhouse in the area. On the way, they passed a gang at an underpass, which Mikael then allegedly confronted.

One of the gang then allegedly took out a gun and pointed it at Mikael’s head. Mikael allegedly tried to take the weapon but was instead shot, according to Aftonbladet’s information.

– How can it be like this in society, that people walk around with weapons? It shouldn’t be like this, says the brother-in-law Elias to The evening paper.

Mikael is said to have been upset about the crime in the area for a long time and wanted to get the gangs that sold drugs off the streets.
