This Tuesday, August 27, the head of the socialist government Pedro Sanchez is making a three-day trip to Senegal, Gambia and Mauritania, to try to find solutions to the migration issue. These are three countries from which more and more migrants are leaving for the Spanish archipelago of the Canaries. For this year 2024 alone, there have already been nearly 23,000 entries until August, an annual increase of 126%. Six months ago, the same Pedro Sanchez went to Nouakchott for the same subject and announced 180 million euros in aid.
