Microsoft: its Xbox app could soon tell you if a game will run well on your PC

Microsoft its Xbox app could soon tell you if a

Our colleagues on the site GHacks discovered a new feature on a preview version of the Xbox app, intended for testers. This function gives an indication of the performance of a game on the target computer.

In the screenshot above, the game Hades is marked Should play great on this PC (should work fine on this PC). However, Microsoft does not specify how this index is generated, knowing that the app can have access to the characteristics of the computer.
Is this against the minimum system requirements for the game or does Microsoft have a basis for calculating based on things like CPU, GPU, and RAM?

In addition, the indication is not yet available for all games. Some titles, like Age of Empires 4 and Forza Horizon 5 bear the mention Performance check not available yet (the performance test is not yet available).
Regardless, the performance indications seem reliable and are an appreciable choice when buying a game, to be sure not to be disappointed.

Also to discover in video:

Microsoft has not indicated if this new feature will be present in the next version of the Xbox app for Windows, and when it will be available.
