Microsoft is starting to overdo it on Windows

Microsoft started to exaggerate on Windows. Being one of the biggest technology brands in the world and turning into a software giant thanks to the Windows operating system, Microsoft is determined to use all these opportunities to its advantage.
Microsoft’s policy of automatically opening the Microsoft Edge browser when clicking on the start menu that requires an internet connection and not being able to change it, which it put into practice with Windows 11, does not seem to take a step back from this attitude.

Announcing a new feature for both Windows 10 and Windows 11, Microsoft did not hesitate to say that these restrictions will increase in both operating systems and the measures will become tougher.

The reason behind the company’s statement that the measures will increase is that Microsoft’s rules can be broken and default browsers can be changed thanks to many mini programs, especially EdgeDeflector.

In addition, Mozilla’s overcoming such restrictions with workarounds was criticized by Microsoft and it was stated that what the company did was inappropriate.

The fact that Microsoft has such a compelling attitude in the selection of browsers makes users very uncomfortable. Windows users, who have reported their reactions to Microsoft through different channels and expressed their dissatisfaction with the default browser application that cannot be changed, called on the company to give up this attitude.

In addition, it is a matter of curiosity how these calls, which are stated to be against the principle of “equal opportunity” and are a crime made before the law, will be answered by Microsoft.
