Microsoft Flight Simulator celebrates 10 million players many more numbers

What a long way since the release of Microsoft Flight Simulator in August 2020. Not only was the game a critical success, but it continues to sell like hotcakes each week, topping the charts around the world. Today, Microsoft let us know that the game has passed the highly symbolic threshold of 10 million players worldwide. So obviously, it’s not sales strictly speaking, but the title has made a name for itself with players who continue to support it. Microsoft takes this opportunity to remind you that in 27 months, no less than 27 major updates, all free, have been deployed, which is a fairly crazy pace of an update every month. Furthermore, the franchise Microsoft Flight Simulator celebrated its 40th anniversary on November 11, accompanied by a trailer again featuring stunning visuals. And since the numbers are always impactful, Microsoft also revealed other important data on the game:

– 500 million flights
– 64 billion kilometers traveled
– The equivalent of 10 million trips around the world
– The equivalent of 200 round trips from Earth to the Sun

The American manufacturer also gives an appointment in 2023 for even more content around Microsoft Flight Simulator.
