Microsoft buys a stake in the London Stock Exchange

Microsoft is buying the LSEG shares from an ownership consortium consisting of Blackstone and Thomson Reuters, according to a press release from LSEG.

No purchase price is reported, but 4 percent of LSEG shares were worth around £1.6 billion (equivalent to SEK 21 billion) when the London Stock Exchange closed on Friday.
