Released in November last year, Tintin Reporter Cigars of the Pharaoh was a great disappointment. Between its overly assisted gameplay, its QTEs from another time and its infiltration that harks back to the early 2000s, we fell off our chairs more than once, especially since the game was riddled with bugs when it was released. A chaotic launch that pushed TintinImaginatio to apologize and promise to fix the technical problems as quickly as possible. In the middle of August, Microids announced a major (and free) update for its game, which will “transform the gaming experience”. Indeed, according to the press release, this unexpected update “will be full of exciting new features”, “a new sequence where Tintin will set off on an adventure on horseback”, “an exclusive gallery of characters” to discover “as well as a Tintinologist mode” for fans of the Belgian reporter. The idea is to accompany the player by giving him anecdotes about the universe created by Hergé as he progresses through the game. Pendulo Studio has worked tirelessly to meet the expectations of players.
At the same time, we learned that a Nintendo Switch version will be available on October 17, at the same time as the update. Here are 3 screenshots of the Switch version.
