Goldorak will not be the only cartoon from our childhood to be entitled to its video game adaptation, Cobra as well. In a tweet posted in the afternoon, Microids has indeed announced working on a video game Space Adventures Cobra, the full name of the work created by Buichi Terasawa. “New announcement coming… It’s about a hero you won’t want to miss. The bets are open !”, the French publisher has fun with its community to raise speculation, but the answers are all the same: Cobra is obviously the name that comes up systematically. Not really difficult to recognize the red outfit of our space pirate, his blonde hair and his delta ray that we see with the metallic hue. If the announcement is not yet official, on our side, we can tell you that this video game adaptation is indeed in production under the aegis of Microids, which seems motivated to bring back the classiest heroes of the 40+ gamers. It remains to be seen what form the game will take, on which consoles it will be released and what year too? We imagine that we will have to wait for the official announcement, with the press release that goes with it, to get to the bottom of it. In the meantime, let’s rewatch the French and Japanese openings, just for nostalgia.
