Michigan tornado drill with warning sirens planned for Tuesday

A statewide tornado drill in Michigan was planned for Tuesday at 1 pm, and St Clair County Emergency Management say people can expect warning sirens to sound for three minutes.

It’s a good opportunity to review and practice emergency plans, a county news release said.

“In the event of severe weather, siren activation for a steady three minutes means a tornado warning has been issued for our area and residents should tune to local media for specific information regarding severe weather and additional instructions,” the release said.
