To prepare for his grand oral, the Prime Minister is holding more meetings and listening. Throughout the week, he held consultations with all the stakeholders in relation to this major deadline.
At the start of the week, he traveled to the National Assembly to attend the conference of group presidents, then he received the union and employer organizations one by one at Matignon.
This Thursday, Bruno Retailleau and Didier Migaud, the Ministers of the Interior and Justice, were received together at Matignon after the two engaged in a standoff via the media. A reframing operation, but also preparation of the measures that the Prime Minister will announce.
This Friday, September 27, during the government seminar, ministers are also invited to make proposals in order to feed into Michel Barnier’s general policy declaration next Tuesday.
