Mexican politicians murdered – others in a short time

Mexican politician Martha Laura Mendoza, mayor of the municipality of Tepalcatepec, and her husband have been shot dead.

The two were attacked when they left their home, according to the city’s former mayor Guillermo Valencia.

Deadline for the sale of Tictok can be extended

US President Donald Trump is likely to “probably” extend the time for the sale of TikTok once more.

“Yes, yes, probably,” the president replied when he was asked on Tuesday.

In the autumn of 2024, a law was adopted in the United States, which prohibits the use of Tiktok in the country – as long as the app is owned by China. The condition for TikTok to be used in the United States is therefore that the app turns into American ownership.

When Trump took over as president in January, he signed a presidential order that would give Tiktok’s owner more time to find an American buyer. In early April, the deadline was extended.
