Emancipation through the fluidity of a fabric, through the elegance of an outfit, that’s what Stéphanie Diana Gadié offers. The young Ivorian designer, founder of the Metys brand, makes multifunctional clothes after realizing, very early on, the importance and impact of a good outfit.
Her latest collection was presented in Niamey, Niger, during the last International Fashion Festival in Africa. It is called “Night Bird” – “night bird”, in French – and it celebrates this mysterious universe that stretches between dusk and dawn.
If fashion has always been present in her life, it was at the age of 30 that Stéphanie Diana Gadié launched herself for good. She resumed her studies in Tunis then in Montreal and launched her brand: Metys. Composed of minimalist pieces and dark colors, she creates her silhouettes, sophisticated without seeming so.
