Messiah Hallberg has a solid career as a comedian and program host under his belt.
For example, he has had several stand-up tours, won the award “Best Male Comedian” in 2018 and appeared in many popular TV shows, including “All Against All”, “Parliament” and “Let’s Dance”.
Since 2023, Messiah Hallberg has led the satirical program “Svenska Nyheter” on SVT. There he jokingly goes through the latest that happened in Sweden and the world every Friday.

Messiah Hallberg is cohabiting with Christina Nordhagerwhom he met in 2007.

Being called Messiah is not exactly the most common.
According to Tax Agency namely, there are only 18 people in Sweden who have Messiah as their first name, and there are probably even fewer who have it as their first name.
Messiah Hallberg is one of them – but he hasn’t always been.
During the comedian’s first 18 years in life, he was called something else. For Today’s News he has previously talked about why he made the decision to change his name to Messiah when he came of age.
– It’s an old family name, my mother’s biological father’s name was that and I thought it was cool.

Before the name change, Messiah Hallberg had the first name Mårten – his full name is Mårten Messiah Nils Gustav Hallberg.
According to King Magazine the comedian’s mother fell in love with the name Mårten when she was a teacher of a student with that name in the 80s.
But from the decision to judge, the name Mårten is not as appreciated by Messiah Hallberg himself.
