2.5 months have passed since Russia’s military intervention in Ukraine. Before the “Victory Day”, which Russia will celebrate on May 9, some of the US diplomats evacuated from the country returned to the US Embassy in Kyiv. It was noteworthy that the said step came before Russia’s “Victory Day”.
THEY RETURN TO KIEV
Speaking to the American press, US State Department officials reported that some diplomats working at the US Embassy in Kiev have returned to Kiev.
Officials noted that the embassy in Ukraine will resume its activities soon and the US flag will be hoisted.
REMARKABLE MOVE BEFORE ‘VICTORY DAY’
The fact that the said step came before Russia’s “Victory Day” did not go unnoticed.

On the other hand, sending a message to the leaders of the former Soviet Union countries as part of the 77th anniversary of the 9 May Victory Day, Putin stated that their aim was to prevent the rebirth of Nazism and said, “As in 1945, the victory will be ours.”
