The waste that ends up next to the container mainly consists of (cardboard) boxes, bulky household waste and residual waste bags. The amount of cardboard is increasing and is caused by online shopping, the municipality writes. That is why a campaign has been launched to improve the door-to-door collection of waste paper and cardboard. Paper containers at home are also being exchanged for a larger size (240 liters) and more containers are being added.
