Launched to the whole world with a special event, Mercedes EQS SUV is getting ready to hit the road with its design and infrastructure dynamics, similar to EQS and EQE. For the model family, which can be preferred over the EQS 450 and EQS 580, which we know from the passenger models, on the version side, things will change a little more on the performance and range side.
Highlights from the Mercedes EQS SUV front
Let’s start with the dimensions of the EQS SUV, one of the new flagships of the electric era. When we look at the figures shared in this section; We see it come off the production line with a length of 5,125 millimeters, a width of 1,959, a height of 1,718 millimeters and a wheelbase of 3,210 millimeters. On the wheelbase side, the SUV model, which is shaped on similar dynamics to the passenger EQS, is shorter and lower than the GLS due to aerodynamic priorities. It is also noteworthy that the Airmatic air suspension system comes as standard in the EQS SUV product range. The model, whose height can be increased up to 25 millimeters with the calibration of the “Off-Road” mode, promises to overcome obstacles with this extra height up to 80 km/h. In “Sport” mode, the same system positions the vehicle 15 millimeters lower.
