London club Chelsea have officially announced the transfer of Senegalese defender Kalidou Koulibaly to Saudi club Al-Hilal on Sunday 25 June. After eight seasons in Naples but only one spent with the Blues, for 23 Premier League games played this season, the captain of Senegal (70 caps) leaves London and adds his name to the growing list of transfers made by Saudi clubs during of this summer transfer window. He joins the Saudi championship alongside the Portuguese Rúben Neves, also recruited by Al-Hilal, as well as the French Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kanté who signed for Al-Ittihad.
