You hear it more and more. Several households buy a small part of a farm to provide for their own vegetables, fruit, meat and eggs. These small-scale Herenboerderijen are becoming increasingly popular. There are fifteen functioning manor farms in the Netherlands and a large number of initiatives are under construction. Today is the official opening of Herenboerderij Nieuw Bureveld in De Bilt.
