The members’ council of the Fietsersbond in Utrecht has approved the appointment of Gilbert Isabella. He will be the new chairman and will succeed Franc Weerwind, who resigned in December because he was appointed minister. Isabella is mayor of the municipality of Houten, bicycle city in 2008 and 2018.
