MeinMMO is looking for freelance authors for Destiny 2 and shooters

We are looking for freelance reinforcement who can support us from our home office.

With MeinMMO we reach several million people every month who share our enthusiasm for gaming. With us you will find articles and videos with stories, guides, opinions, recommendations or interviews.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for freelance writers to help us report on Destiny 2 and shooters in general. You should enjoy sharing your gaming knowledge. What you should bring with you:

  • a feel for exciting stories
  • a great passion for gaming, especially for the loot shooter Destiny 2
  • a willingness to delve deeply into topics and research them
  • you use social platforms like Twitter, Reddit and Tiktok
  • you enjoy writing
  • A willingness to work on weekends is an advantage
  • This is a plus, but not a must: You already have experience in the media sector. This includes: your own blog, work for another website, your own channel on Twitch, Tiktok or YouTube.

    What is it about?

Are you eagerly following the merchant reset in Destiny 2? Do you know exactly which weapons correspond to the current meta? With every update, do you dig deep into the patch notes and can you immediately give your clan the summary and the most exciting information from the new update?

Then working at MeinMMO is made for you!

Although we are particularly looking for support in reporting on Destiny 2, we can also report on other shooters. Multiplayer and loot shooters such as:

  • Fortnite
  • Call of Duty
  • Warframe
  • Valorant
  • Apex Legends
  • How do we work?

The way it works: You independently research exciting stories in the Destiny community and on Bungie’s official channels. Together with the editorial team, you plan the topics you will report on. You work with analysis tools such as Google Trends to find the most pressing topics for our readers. You write articles that fit MeinMMO and our community.

The times: You can work for MeinMMO for a few hours at least three days a week. Up to 20 hours per week are possible.

The payment: The fee in the news room is calculated on an hourly basis, not per article or according to the number of characters.
