As a games editor at MeinMMO, you are responsible for reporting on MMORPGs. You know which games made the genre big, what the beginnings of MMOs were like and which new MMORPGs all genre fans are eagerly waiting for.
With more than 3 million unique users, MeinMMO is one of the largest gaming websites in Germany who could soon read your articles on MMORPGs. Online role-playing games are one of the most important pillars of MeinMMO. They are firmly anchored in the DNA, which is why MeinMMO is looking for a full-time employee just for this genre.
What you can look forward to
You focus primarily on video games and the gaming scene, with a particular focus on new and old online role-playing gamesIn close cooperation with the editor-in-chief, you will help plan editorial reportingYou research, write and edit articles such as news, columns and conduct interviewsA special focus is on retro articles about MMORPGs, you answer questions like: Which MMORPG had a real economist who monitored and regulated the game’s virtual economy? Which MMORPG was the first to reach 1 million subscribers?We provide you with analysis tools with which you can optimize your articles according to the latest findings in SEO and web publishingWe encourage you to give early feedback on our work processes and procedures and to actively help shape themYou can actively shape our MMORPG reporting (we look forward to your ideas and wishes)Practical experience in journalistic work for the web with a focus on gamesIf desired, there is the possibility of being integrated into video or podcast formats (but the focus is on writing articles)Examples of articles you would write in the future:
