Who are we looking for?

We are looking for freelance writers to help us report on tech and hardware. You should enjoy informing our readers about cool gadgets, useful tips and DIY hacks and sharing your knowledge about tech and cool gadgets. This is what you should bring with you:

  • you should have a passion for hardware and tech.
  • You are interested in the stories that gamers tell about their tech.
  • you like to get inspiration online.
  • you can spend hours setting up your perfect setup, loving the details and subtleties you want to portray.
  • a willingness to delve deeply into topics and research them.
  • you use social platforms like Twitter, Reddit and TikTok and perhaps follow exciting content creators.
  • you enjoy writing.
  • A willingness to work on weekends is an advantage.
  • This is a plus, but not a must: You already have experience in the media sector and may even have acquired rudimentary SEO knowledge.

Maybe you’ve already written on your own blog, worked for another website, or have your own channel on Twitch, TikTok, or YouTube.

    What is it about?

Are you interested in hardware and tech, do you already use a variety of gadgets in your everyday life, or are you enthusiastic about well-known personalities from the tech sector such as Steve Jobs or Bill Gates?

You can spend hours setting up your perfect gaming setup or have already bought a box of accessories for the PS5 that you want to show everyone or are constantly getting new inspiration on YouTube and the like for tips, tricks and new devices that you really want to try out? Then our work could be ideal for you.

In the “Tech and Hardware” section, we report for gamers who deal with tech in their everyday lives.

As an author, you go into the community, share and report on your passions. Be it entertaining anecdotes or quick tips on how to perfectly set up your next PC setup or your new games console. Or how to configure the coolest RGB lighting for your desk.

    How do we work?

How it works: You independently research exciting stories that you come across on YouTube, Reddit or other sources. You write guides, tips or present gadgets that you are passionate about or that you find interesting.

Together with the editorial team, you plan the topics you will report on. You work with analysis tools such as Google Trends to find the most pressing topics for our readers. You write articles that are relevant to MeinMMO and our community.

The times: You can work for MeinMMO for a few hours on at least three days a week. Up to 20 hours per week is possible. More than 20 hours are also possible by arrangement.
