With Road House, an absolute cult action film from the 80s will soon be relaunched on Amazon Prime Video. Jake Gyllenhaal is set to play Patrick Swayze’s hard-nosed bar bouncer in the Road House remake. Now emblazoned another big name on the cast list. Martial arts superstar Conor McGregor is now said to be in front of the camera alongside the actor.

McGregor is considered the most famous fighter of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) association and one of the most famous martial artists ever. Thanks to his pugnacious personality and aggressive style he also enjoyed enormous popularity on TV broadcasts and was the highest paid athlete in the world according to Forbes 2021.

McGregor’s loose mouth and martial arts skills could please the rest of the cast drive the sweat of fear down your forehead. Taking on the multiple winner of often brutal UFC bouts in an action scene will take courage. It is not known what role McGregor will play in the remake.
