The angry residents united, they want the playground gone again. The group of opponents is now almost as large as the group of proponents. The playground has now ruined the atmosphere in the neighborhood. People complain about intimidation, fights and crooked faces. A good conversation is no longer possible. The opponents of the playground say they knew nothing about the plans, they don’t speak the Dutch language, and they couldn’t read the neighborhood report. Or they live there just after the neighborhood report was distributed. And still others objected but felt unheard.
