The rich and famous take a cruise in the Triangle of Sadness. However, it escalates to such an extent that we can hardly stop marveling and cheering. In addition, an incredible number of good actors and what is probably the most disgusting scene in recent years ensure the best entertainment. The film is on TV for the first time today.
Free TV premiere: What is Triangle of Sadness about?
Triangle of Sadness gives us an insight into the lives of model couple Carl (Harris Dickinson) and Yaya (Charlbi Dean). The two argue about equality and money, but they don’t actually have to worry about the latter. Things get particularly interesting when she… invited on a cruise for the super rich because Yaya is also an influencer.
On board there are, among other things, arms dealers, Russian oligarchs and, of course, a large crew who have to read every wish from the lips of the snobs. The cruise is really getting out of handwhen the completely drunk captain (Woody Harrelson) shows up at the captain’s dinner, a strong storm is approaching and the food causes massive gastrointestinal problems for a large number of the passengers.
Triangle of Sadness takes no prisoners and entertains until the last minute
The bitter, darkly humorous satire goes straight to where it really hurts without any detours. While the crew of the ship has to endure everything and never say no, the rich people who are so pampered are downright clueless about what is actually going on in the real world around them. Which then takes revenge in the most cynical way when the tables are turned.
The mood changes not only because the ship is completely tilted in the ocean at some point, but also because of the vomiting diarrhea that most of the fellow travelers get from the food and the heavy seas. Despite the disgust, there is also satisfaction in seeing unpleasant people reduced to such rudimentary bodily functions. And we haven’t even talked about that yet even wilder, final part of the film spoken.
Not quite as gross, but no less shocking The new horror film Des Teufels Bad by Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala is likely to be canceled: The brilliant horror duo is now fighting back in the cinema – with one of the most outrageous films of the year.
