(Finance) – The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) has announced the issue up to 3.5 billion euro of Short Term BTPEI and 10 year BTPEI. In particular, they will be placed Short Term BTP (maturity 29/11/2023 and 0% coupon) for an amount between € 1.75 and € 2.25 billion, 10 year BTPEI (maturity 15/05/2033 and coupon 0.10%) for an amount between 750 million and 1.25 billion euros.
Titles go in auction Thursday 26 May. The date of regulation it is May 30th. The placement mechanism used will be that of the marginal auction with discretionary determination of the allotment price and of the quantity issued within the aforementioned issue intervals.
