Jean-Yves Tadié is professor emeritus at La Sorbonne (Paris IV) and director of the “Classic Folio” and “Folio Theater” collections at Gallimard. A former student of the École Normale Supérieure, he is agrégé and Doctor of Letters. Biographer and specialist of Marcel Proust, he directed, in 1987, the new edition of the novel “In Search of Lost Time” in the Library of the Pléiade, crowned in 1988 by the price of the French Academy.
