Born in Casablanca, Yasmine Chami, who did all her training in France, graduating in social sciences among other things, published her first novel Cérémonie in 1999 with Actes Sud. After Paris and New York, she returned to Morocco where she founded and ran an audio visual production company for ten years. Since 2011, she has dedicated herself to teaching.
