(Finance) – Very positive session for Mediobancawhich this morning flew to the top of the FTSE MIB, with a gain of 2%, bucking the trend of a heavily negative market.
The strategic plan, presented today by the management, contributes to supporting the actions of the Istituto di Piazzetta Cuccia, which estimates revenues of up to 3.8 billion by 2026, thanks to the contribution of wealth management, which will become the first engine of revenue growth thanks to the commissions. Since 2016, the year in which development in WM became a priority for the group, the division has tripled in size.
Earnings per share are expected to grow by 15% from 1.15 to 1.80 euros, ROTE at 15% from 12%. Expected growth in shareholder remuneration up to 3.7 billion euros in the three-year period 2024-26 (+70% compared to the previous four-year period) in dividends and buybacks.
